NDSC to form union government, appoints U Nyo Saw as Prime Minister

The National Defense and Security Council formed the Union Government today (July 31) under Section 427, Sub-section (b) of the Constitution, and U Nyo Saw became the Prime Minister.
In addition to the position of Prime Minister, U Nyo Saw will also hold the joint responsibility of Union Minister of the Ministry of National Planning.
The newly formed Union Government will consist of 30 government members, including U Tin Aung San as Union Minister of the President's Office Ministry (1), U Ko Ko Hlaing as Union Minister of the President's Office Ministry (2), U Maung Maung Tin as Union Minister of the President's Office Ministry (3), and U Tun Ohn as Union Minister of the President's Office Ministry (4).
In addition, U Mya Tun Oo, General Maung Maung Aye, Dr. Kan Zaw, U Than Swe, Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung, Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae, Dr. Wah Wah Maung, Dr. Thidar Oo, U Maung Maung Ohn, U Tin Oo Lwin, U Min Naung, U Hla Moe, U Khin Maung Lwin, U Nyan Tun, U Ko Ko Lwin, Dr. Charlie Than, U Myint Kyaing, U Aung Kyaw Ho, U Chit Swe, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Dr. Thet Khaing Win, U Myo Thant, Dr. Soe Win, and Jeng Phang Naw Taung were also reappointed as Union Ministers, and U Nay Lin was appointed as the Director-General of the Union Government Office. – Phyo
